There are a couple reasons this could be happening. Please try the following steps before contacting support:
Ensure your email is verified by clicking Account at the bottom of the left menu and selecting the menu for Account Info. It should look like this:
Ensure your email address is not new. The system does not allow new email addresses, so you may need to change it to an older email. Don’t forget to verify the address by clicking the “Verify Email” button if you change it!
Verify your card has been added to your account by selecting the dropdown menu for Credit Card Info. If your card is declined, reach out to your bank and request they allow charges from JFF Publications. If your email is not verified, you can’t add a card.
Please note: If you have tried adding your card 3 times and it has been declined, you must wait 24 hours before trying again. We cannot unlock this feature on our end.
If you have gone through all these steps and are still unable to subscribe or add your card, you can search for specific errors in the Help section to get more information on how to resolve the issue, such as Security Related, etc. The specific error would be displayed at the top of the screen when trying to add your card.
